Ethan Decker

Digital Media Creator

Ethan discovered his passion for video early, creating video assignments for school as young as the fifth grade. He honed his digital storytelling skills during the slow days of the COVID-19 pandemic, creating short films that entertained family and friends from afar. Ethan then attended Upland High School, where he enrolled in the school’s Film, TV, & Video Production pathway. Through his four years in the program, he had the opportunity to learn from teachers with tremendous talent and experience, further developing his knowledge and skills.

Ethan has used his talents to create short films, sports highlight films, and promotional materials for local organizations and businesses. He has produced award winning films for the San Bernardino County “Reel Reality” Fentanyl Awareness Film Contest and the Directing Change Film Contest, highlighting the importance of mental health awareness for adolescents. In addition, he was awarded Best Editor in 2025 for his work with his high school broadcasting program. He has been employed by a local water polo club to produce a series of promotional videos for their social media marketing, as well as individual student athletes requesting highlight reels for college recruiting. Ethan is widely recognized for his ability to tell impactful stories through digital media. He plans to continue his film and digital media education, while also building his professional portfolio through local partnerships, as he transitions to college in Fall 2025.
